Last I heard:
Kanye West and Milo Yiannopoulos are being accused of engaging in “forced labor and cruel inhuman, or degrading treatment” toward the team brought on to create the app that the rapper-mogul hoped would compete with Tidal and other streaming players, according to a lawsuit filed this weekend in Los Angeles.
I think he was also saying that Trump and Luomet had an affair. And he leaked that West is addicted to laughing gas…

Yeah, Musk’s online cohorts are neo-Nazis more than tech dudes these days. They’re always coming up with new ways to say “untermensch,” and this is clearly another one. (Although I don’t know if it’s in common usage in alt-right circles, or just an awkward attempt by Musk himself to coin a new term.)
It’s interesting how Musk went full-on anti-immigrant neo-Nazi, and has supported/been supported by anti-immigrant fascists, but he solipsistically didn’t realize how his personal need for H1B visa holders for his businesses (in particular his H1B hostages that he needs to keep Twitter going), isn’t shared by his allies. Now he’s shocked by the discovery.

Lost in all of this is nobody asking why Americans are apparently “too dumb” to hire for tech jobs.
These are the same damn people who want to defund or abolish public education, make people go broke to go to college or university, and remove federal incentives and grants for people to pursue higher education. Rather than fight for improving education, they would rather ban books, punish teachers for trying to teach, keep teachers poor, and force religion into classrooms. They would rather use school boards to destroy them from within rather than make things better for students. They would rather force teachers to keep guns at their desks rather than do anything to prevent students from getting used for target practice.
Of course hiring foreign workers also has nothing at all to do with the employer’s ability to exploit that labor by spending less money for more work, or by threatening foreign workers’ immigration status to force compliance.

Cause DEI-woke-mindvirus is why… They believe that goes without saying… the fact that Ramaswamy pointed to 90s sitcoms like Family Matters (which centers on a working class Black family) shows that. He believes that we should not celebrate working class Black people by centering culture on them, because to his mind, they are not the ones who should be celebrated, only the wealthy, and primarily white, elites should be celebrated - their wealth is evidence of their value, while people not having a ton of cash means that they are exactly where they deserve to be.
they only want some people getting what we’ve come to understand as this kind of education. In their ideal world the untermenschen would not go bankrupt getting a college degree, because they would not be getting college degrees. They’d get the most basic of education for them to their proper jobs, which is whatever the elites tell them to do. An education that gets them barely literate (on reading/math, etc) and filled with a view of art, culture, and history that reinforces the social hierarchies that they prefer is what they envision. If someone comes from the working classes, they are not fit to be rulers of the world, no matter how smart they might be. They will push them down until they are so disheartened that they will just go along and hide their intelligence from the world, because it’s just easier that way.

Trump was always going to do that. Elon is an idiot in that he couldn’t figure out that Trump says one thing, taking a hard-line position on something that he perceives as popular, and then quietly does whatever big business actually wants (regardless of how much it screws over Trump’s voters).

I don’t think enough attention is paid to the fact that H1b’s result in, essentially, indentured servants who cannot quit their jobs without leaving the country. They can be pressured to work schedules and conditions that American workers will not tolerate. When the tech right calls us “r*tarded” or “stupid,” what they really mean is we are not sufficiently subservient. Same issue as there is with immigrant agricultural workers. They work in conditions and requirements that Ameticans will not. See GA’s experiment with this in 2012 (i think?) They will not willingly hire Americans because we expect to be treated like humans. They want workers who accept subhuman status willingly. I hate it.
