Well there is such a thing as a Roman Salute. Fascists aren’t that creative.

Context matters. Mussolini adopted the “roman salute” making it a fascist salute. :woman_shrugging:

“A Roman salute, used to salute Roman leaders like Mussolini”

It’s like the swastika or various Scandinavian rune symbols. Once the Nazis use it, it’s fouled forever.

Exactly.

I wonder if the “Charlie Chaplin” mustache is going to make a comeback?

Tingle’s streak of being completely correct about everything ever continues, marching on towards eternal poundings in infinite butts.

I’d prefer Chuck Tingles world to Musk’s.

There’s plenty of other vehicles that offer the same level of autonomy, are more comfortable, better designed, less expensive, and aren’t lining the pockets of a literal Nazi that only wants to use his massive wealth to watch the world burn.

Cry me a fucking river.

A brief search indeed confirms this. And they’re brands the fashion-conscious would like to be seen in. Or is it “marque” when the price tag goes above a certain point? Anyway…

Why are people who can’t do a brief search allowed to drive? /s (I think…)

Right? Tesla may be good at marketing themselves but they are far from the only EV brand with lots of tech.

The BMW iX in particular offers outstanding self-driving features, well-designed interior and controls (something the Cybertruck definitely does not have), and is extremely comfortable.

It’s plenty fast, has good range, and cheaper than your typical loaded Cybertruck. It also won’t get you flipped off everywhere you go. The styling may be controversial among some BMW enthusiasts, but I think it’s fine — like an X5 as seen through the eyes of an AI image generator. As a bonus the tech doesn’t over promise and under deliver like Tesla is infamous for.

I’m biased toward BMWs, but they do make really good EVs and PHEVs. Unfortunately the US offerings are pretty meager compared to what you get in other countries on the more budget side of things.
