Unless a lot more people wake up.
Itās coming to a head really soon. His minions should already be facing contempt and jail time. That is unlikely to rise as far as T**** but there is no reason Holman or Rubio would be exempt from it. But will we see judges wilt like they did during his multiple criminal trials? I mean, if Merchan had enforced the law like he would have for any of us, T**** would have been in prison for half of the campaign.
If judges stand firm, it gives everyday people more backbone to be bold in stopping the fascist actions of the administration, but if they wilt, then fewer people will act.
They never learn. Everything always ends well for Trump.
Hmmm. Maybe thereās some hope to be found in his many failures-- marriages, bankruptcies, businesses, product lines, court cases (lawsuits and crimnal), etc. He does persistently fail upward, but he doesnāt always win.
He will eventually lose. It may not be until well after his death, but fascism never wins in the end, and history never hold fascists in high regard. He may not lose soon enough for any of us, but he will lose.
Iām used to seeing headlines like this for cops, not firemen. He didnāt drop a baby on her head, who then suffered a skull fracture. He threw his infant daughter on the ground because she wouldnāt stop crying. Whoever wrote this headline should also be arrested, for accessory after the fact.
Theteās a scene from the first season of True Detective that comes to mindā¦
People who write this kinda shit have to clue just how durable and resilient babies are. I spent years as a PICU doc. Babies can and do survive injuries and accidents that would do in adults 99% of the time. Just getting born is incredible trauma. It takes effort to break a baby. I am generally a gentle person (initially typed gentile, also accurate, but not germane) but I have had to restrain myself with great effort when talking to people who do these things. And I have had to do this way too many times. Intentionally inflicting harm onto a baby is hard for me to get past.
Yeah if you read the article, itās clear that the father is saying he dropped the baby, but the police are saying no, he clearly threw the baby to the ground, so the headline really pisses me off because itās not even technically accurate. He hasnāt been accused of dropping the baby. The accusation is that he threw her. I have no idea why theyād use the exonerative tense in that headline.
Aside from the media routinely doing that with police, firefighters, and preferred polsā¦thereās a picture of the accused in the onebox as another clue to the mystery.
Tell me this is sarcasmā¦
āā¦when discussing classified DoD war plans.ā This has to be the missing part of that.
Well, to answer that question from USA Today, I can say āMe.ā I havenāt accidentally texted or emailed someone.
I wish I could
Hereās the article for anyone who feels like ruining their day:
More like USA not Today!
Way back when, Iād heard it called āMcPaper.ā
Its that thing you find outside your hotel door, so after stepping on it you pick it up and leave it in the lobby, unread.
