I’m all for organ donation (and I’m a designated donor myself), but this definition bugs me for the same reason. Brain is OK? Heart is OK? Sounds more like they are a possible transplant recipient rather than donor. If they have enough healthy organs to donate and aren’t brain dead, what is keeping them in an irreversible coma?
