Especially up to the point of diagnosis! Knowing there’s obviously something wrong, but not having any idea what, would be another layer of frustration and anger on top of what’s already happening.
Anderson Cooper interviewed Dr. Sanjay Gupta about this last night. Apparently, this can be pretty easily treated in many (most?) cases through the insertion of a shunt to drain the excess fluid into the abdomial cavity. (“Easily”, of course, being a relative term.)

I don’t know how to express this in a way where it won’t come out wrong, but considering how much effort was put into this process, I would say this is incontrovertible evidence that Harvard is doing the right thing to uphold academic standards, proving that “DEI” doesn’t mean you keep non-white non-male professors who are doing wrong but rather hold them to the same high standards.
Yeah, I don’t think Harvard has gotten this right every time – or probably most times over the years! – but for the business school, of all places, to fire one of their own shows a level of integrity I didn’t expect.

So… “Latino”? I mean, it may depend on how narrow the definition is. Sometimes was as narrow as “not of anglic or dutch origin” (To exclude irish, italian and german inmigrants). Race dinamics in the US is a whole different level as in classist based europe
