In early September, people began finding white, sponge-like substances on beaches in Placentia Bay.
Once again, nominative determinism for the win.
They are the perfect stewards of his awfulness.
Probably the best outcome we could hope for. The Sandy Hook families will get some of the money they’re owed without Jones’ media empire being passed on to another odious group of hatemongers. The article says that the exclusive advertiser on the new venture will be Everytown for Gun Safety.
Excellent news at a time we need that!

Really? Because I feel amazingly comfortable with these results.
The only other bidder — Jones’s proxy First United American Companies — argued that the bidding method meant that competing bidders could not know what they were up against.
If the administrators of the auction chose to reject the bid from Jones’s proxy company, good for them! Additionally, why, exactly, was this shell the only other bidder? This seems far more suspicious to me than the judge’s claims. (And “other bidders” didn’t know how how much their competition was bidding? Yeah, that’s a pretty standard way of doing a lot of auctions. They’re not all fast talk and raised hands like at the state fair, dude.)
Hey, I drive an old, second-hand Mercedes myself…
Money.
You’re welcome…?
Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, the two Georgia poll workers defamed by Rudolph W. Giuliani after the 2020 election, received his watch collection, a ring and his vintage Mercedes-Benz on Friday.
The deliveries, which Mr. Giuliani’s lawyer, Joseph Cammarata, reported to the court on Friday, were a long time coming for the women, who are mother and daughter. It was also a small down payment on what the former New York City mayor owes them.
