Did you seen the āfree IoT toothbrushā post on TOS? I fear weāre going to get these things shoved down our throats (so to speak) regardless of whether we want them. Iām getting a CPAP machine soon and apparently they come Internet of Shit enabled, so they can get the information it records at the doctorās office/manufacturer/insurer/hackers. Fortunately it also has a memory card that I can take to the doctor (maybe), so I aināt given it my router password. I hope it works without it.

I have implemented a separate WIreless VLAN for any device that thinks it needs to talk to the Internet that I donāt have any controls over. I need to implement some better logging on that VLAN, but at least they canātā” get to my production network.
