I saw someone on social media talking about how prophetic the Star Wars prequels were (wrt US politics), what with the plot involving the Republic collapsing due to trade wars, etc. and someone chimed in that they wanted to fast forward to the bit where the “Viet Cong teddy bears” bring down the Empire…
