Goya are a bunch of thieving backstabbing bastards. Several mayor Venezuelan brands needed help with distribution and some manufacturing outside of the country because within the country prices had collapsed and it wasn’t feasible to run most businesses, including producing staple foods. Several brands partnered with Goya, until they took all of the methods, recipes, manufacturing methods and just copied it all and slapped their own branding on it. I was never crazy about Goya branded stuff before but now I refuse to give them any of my money on principle.
