I can explain that.
The technically shorter, more straight-line path would take it through northern Arizona, a route so treacherous it was locked down overnight for 16 hours due to so many accidents/slide-offs just a week ago, despite the fact most vehicles taking that route were trucks with tire chains.
A cybertruck wouldn’t stand a chance. That was (unexpectedly) a smart move on the part of the driver.

The same assholes would claim that if you remove the roof entirely and replace it with a completely different roof, it’s still a Pizza Hut.
And if the plan is changed while the walls are being constructed, it’s a “mutilated Pizza Hut.”
And that putting a Pizza Hut sign on a former Shake Shack and selling pizza, somehow gives it an unfair competitive advantage over other Pizza Huts, which need to be “protected”
