A (not too heavy) technical read, but as someone that’s had a lifelong interest in cartography and is a programmer by trade I found this to be a fascinating read on how Google manages to pack so much data into its maps.

I haven’t done a head-to-head comparison with Apple Maps, but Google Maps and Orbis are both powerful migraine triggers, and Google makes it hard to block embedded migraine triggers on other sites. On the other hand Apple has helped popularize touchscreens and slip-to-activate-migraine-triggers.
