To be fair, that’s Prez at his absolute least competent.
Not at his worst (that’s a much different scene), but his competency definitely goes way up from there.

I read somewhere that the time Prez shot the other cop was the only time a cop fired a gun in the all the five seasons of that show. It’s been a while since I watched it, but it feels right. He also shoots a wall in the police station (that clip above.) And there’s also a running gag about how he also shot a police car, but I don’t think that’s actually shown.

As for the clear backpacks, they must have been imposed by someone who has never had to use feminine hygiene products as a teenager – or used a plastic backpack for that matter. With the loads of gear and books high school students need to lug, they’ll be shredded in weeks.

Backpacks were straight-up banned in my middle and high schools following a bomb threat. It was sure somethin’.

AND let’s just say some guy has a gun, and they want to get in the school, they’d probably just pull it out and threaten the person who is granting access to the school before their backpack got through the door.
