I don’t really know if this goes here, but every so often, I go over the Class Action Lawsuits to see if there is any easy money I qualify for.
Some claims don’t require proof - on this site they have those settlements marked in red, so if you are pretty sure you bought some pacifiers or tuna, but don’t have proof, you can make a claim. And I feel really certain that almost all of you bought some Beyond Meat.
Just go through the claims process and provide your venmo/paypal/bank info and one day you will get a random deposit from “xyz claim.”
Sometimes you have to register first to get a claim number…enter your email using the registration button, then use that claim number to file a claim.
Right now, there are a few really big ones out there, and one of them is if you sold a house during a wide range of time and the house was listed on the MLS. I happened to have sold a house within that time frame and I was able to find the HUD statement really fast, so I put in a claim on that one. I don’t know if I will get any money, but maybe?
The other is this one, which is for $2500 - $3750 for getting a robocall from Deere Credit. You can download the PDF and mail in a claim. I have NO IDEA if they will check these mailed in claims against some call database or not, but for a shot at $2500, it was worth my time to print the form, fill it out, and put it in the mail. Deadline is January 20th.
Anyhoo, hope you can use this to put a little cash in your wallet.
The court doc says they will check against a database. Deere is required by the court to do reverse look up and such to find addresses to notify people. Somehow I doubt they were being very diligent about it
Edit to add; @ChickieD: the fact they’ll check is certainly not a reason someone shouldn’t file a claim! None of us are answering random numbers (at least, I hope so!) and the worst that could happen is the lawyers running th settlement reject the claim
