Is there a way to consolidate the two food threads? They seem to have the exact same purpose.
Like… fusion cuisine?
I usually baste the steak with butter towards the end with some sprigs of thyme or rosemary to get the flavour and then remove them later. I pan fry them mostly but i don’t use black pepper before frying because i was led to believe pepper burns, but i do use salt.
Yes please.
After almost 10,000 posts on Boing Boing BBS before the change, I thought I would come over to elsewhere.cafe and continue.
I think perhaps two food blogs is to many. I am considering if I should stop. The old BB BBS was the past I guess. I had hoped for elsewhere to be a natural continuation of the conversation.
Perhaps it’s my ego showing.
“Here we go round the mulberry bush, The mulberry bush, the mulberry bush. Here we go round the mulberry bush, On a cold and frosty morning.”
Very excited whenever we find these. We will have some with yogurt tomorrow. Cheers.
A huge Korean market “Jagalchi” just opened a 10 minute drive from us in Daly City.
It is 75,000 square feet!
I was turned on to Korean food when I was
10yo, my Father brought an “exchange” Korean Engineer home for our family Thanksgiving.
Next weekend Young Su Park covered the same family table with food from his native Korea.
I will never forget, the Banchan side dishes alone were incredible.
Cheers!
We have a Super H Mart in driving distance from us, and we really should go sometimes soon… I should also go to the Buford Highway farmer’s market, too…
As I said, I have a soft spot and warm memories of Korean food. Three types of Kimchi in our fridge right now.
Yes I even eat Kimchi on my hot dogs sometimes.
Cheers!
Kimchi is great on hot dogs, in tacos and burritos!
That is true!
Cheers!
Please come share everything you do in the kitchen in the combined thread (or highlander thread, if there can be only one), I’m trying to grow mulberries myself, but with limited success.
Thanks man.
Cheers!
Simple BBQ fresh steelhead salmon.
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, with a little hint of onion powder, rubbed with olive oil.
Cooked off flame in a Weber gas grill.
Hmmm… kimchi fish burritos?
Yes.
Cheers!
Now that’s a new one too me.
Cheers!
Who’s up for some CRISPR-y bacon?
Wow, thanks. Great article, makes you wonder what recent changes to it will affect us.
Cheers!
Science in action I guess.
Thank you,
Cheers!
