That’s fascinating! This part also intrigues me:
In other studies, eye movements from left to right and right to left done quickly (two eye movements per second) were found to improve autobiographical memory (your life story).
However, some studies suggest this beneficial effect of eye movement only benefits right-handed people. We are not sure why this is.
Stories like this point out how little we know about how the brain really works, don’t they?

EMDR has been a topic of conversation for a number of years. There is a lot we just don’t understand about neural function.
This is not that, but seems in the same wheelhouse.
