I can probably adapt this to userscript for you tonight. This seems a promising solution.

Nice. I currently use “Hide Fixed Elements.” It has the advantage that if I want to un-hide them, I can select the button instead of reloading the page.
Unfortunately both require me to load pages with the sticky elements, and then select the button to remove the sticky elements.
