Ok, this story caught me off guard. I didn’t expect to cry!
I love this guy! Most preppers drive me crazy, they’re too religious, or gun fanatics, or just plain old racists.
This guy and his wife built a prepper paradise for their extended family!
And now, all that food is being donated and sent to Puerto Rico.
AND he has a new family to live with.
I mean yeah sure he’s bankrupt and a widower, but still.

I want to know who bought the house.

Having lived through the 70s and 80s, I can’t help it - every time I encounter the word “prepper” I think of “preppy”. Leading me to picture effete people in chinos and izod shirts trying to figure out how to strip guns and can vegetables without getting dirty.
