That’s exactly what the police are claiming. They’re also saying no-one has been wrongly arrested, but that always makes me wonder how many were wrongfully taken in for questioning and then released.
This smacks way too much of “if you haven’t done anything you have nothing to fear.”
Inept or incredibly effective? They have no incentive to improve the process if a high false positive rate cows the populace, no?
With “questioning” having a rather fluid definition.
