Inside your home stuff

Handwashing ftw! This looks like an expensive, and pretty, but fairly useless appliance, like those air fryers etc. that clog up a lot of people’s kitchens. I know that there are people that use keurigs, and such, but many more that buy them because they are the next shiny thing and never use them.

Works for handwashing dishes AND clothing. Collapses down to slide in like a book under the sink.

You take that back, right now!

It helps to think of an air fryer as what it really is, rather than an air fryer. Because it doesn’t fry. It’s a miniature convection oven. So almost anything you would cook in an oven that would fit in an air fryer is good. Just be aware you may need to lower the temperature (convection cooks faster and you can dry things out really fast if you aren’t careful), and you won’t need to preheat.

It is really good for oven baked versions of fried foods, which I think is why it’s marketed as an air fryer. Think things like chicken wings, fried cheese, etc.

ETA: I also love making grilled cheese sandwiches in mine.

Chips and… other stuff.

Mine gets the most use from reheating leftovers. A lot of things the microwave will ruin, and heating up the oven doesn’t making sense for, go into the air fryer and come out super tasty.

An air fryer is the best for reheating pizza.

You are absolutely correct. I just did that last night!

my new favorite thing is air fryer crunchy chickpea snacks. they don’t require any oil, but you can use an olive oil spray to get the seasonings to stick better.
take a tin of garbanzos, drain them, place on paper towel- lined sheet pan and allow them to dry a bit (~ 1 hour) before air fryering at 390F for 15-20 minutes until desired “crunchiness”.
season with curry powders, masala mixes (yes, i know that is redundant), chili powder, any seasoning you like. healthy, crunchy snacks that are low calorie [citation needed] and yummy!
ETA: as @danimagoo said, chicken wings, FTW! i also do blackened fish in mine.

Hopefully not when it’s full of water. I had a camping cup like that once, and it started collapsing all by itself.
