That article has some good history but doesn’t mention that, of the three so-called “axis of evil” countries named by Bush Jr., the only one we haven’t bombed is the one that succeeded in getting itself a nuclear deterrent. The apparent success of having a nuclear deterrent seems relevant.

Per ABC via Trump Iran and Israel have now agreed on a ceasefire.

If true, now expect Trump to take credit for this after having bombed Iran while it was working on a ceasefire with Israel.

I wonder if those “80 Finnish companies” are still there. Below, under a different PM in 2018:

TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Finland along with the EU is still committed to the nuclear deal and we invite you (Iran) to stay in the deal,” he said in a meeting with Iranian Labor Minister Ali Rabie on the sidelines of International Labor Conference in Geneva.

He also said nearly 80 Finnish companies are working in Iran.

“Trump had thought we would withdraw from the nuclear deal as he dropped the agreement. We stayed and I think it is possible to work only with Europe.”

I’m so sick of the media just… accepting whatever drivel comes out of this man’s mouth… American President or not, he isn’t telling the truth.

May he be returned there in less comfortable circumstances.

The anonymous sources told US media it is estimated the attack only set Iran back “a few months, tops”, and that any resumption of its nuclear programme may be based on how long it takes the country to dig out and make repairs.

How much did this cost anyway?
