This is a sentiment I can quite frequently identify with.
Your Canadian Content for the day:
I found myself spontaneously singing this yesterday, and I realized I probably hadn’t actually heard it since the 1980s.
88Kasyo Junrei. Interesting band.
I think that wins an award for least-expensive music video in history.
I find that the choir(?) requires the lyrics sheet to sing their part.
I’m not sure if this is inspirational or deeply depressing, but it has become an earworm.
There’s a whole album of these:
It’s back. This comes and goes from UTube periodically.
I swear this video is the most German thing ever created.
I can still remember the first time I heard that song, if not exactly when. Mom and I were in the car, waiting in the drive-thru line at McDonald’s to pick up dinner. We were channel-surfing on the radio and wound up on a college station where that song was playing. It was different enough from the music of the time that it stuck in my head, even years later.
So I knew the song, but this is the first time I’ve seen the video. (Can’t say I like what happened to the waitress.)
Regarding the waitress, no, I don’t care for that either. They have, shall I say, a dark sense of humor. As I recall on the back cover of the album, one of the band members is choking another.
