That’s a pretty good song, one of my faves from the later/newer Rasputina stuff. Though at this point it’s not so new guess (looks at the 2010 release date and stares blankly at the horizon)

Yeah, she’s pretty much offline these days. I think, like lots of women, she got harassed off the internet. The only thing I’ve dug up about her is that she’s associated with a church in upstate NYC, playing cello and doing lessons there, I think.

She’s spoken about how an obsessive fan/stalker broke into her house years ago and stole her computer, and some other stuff. As far as i know she’s still dealing from the trauma of the circumstances around that, so her being relatively lowkey always made sense to me but she seems to be doing well in NY. I’m thankful that i’ve had a few opportunities to see her in Austin, and hope she tours again in the future.

Man, I’ve fallen behind in so many threads, lol. I’m about a hundred back on this one. However, I was catching up on the RIP thread and @KathyPartdeux 's post about Youngblood’s front man passing instantly brought this tune to mind.
