Probably about a decade ago, I came across a podcast put out by Air France that had a collection of songs that I found pleasing. They put it out right around that year’s Cannes movie festival, and most of the songs had a movie tie-in.
Anyway, after a couple of cell phone changes, I lost the file, and unlike everything else on the internet, I couldn’t ever find the file again. Not even the play list. The names and artists didn’t accompany the file, so I never knew the details of the songs, and only out of sheer luck was I able to cobble together a couple of titles and artists when I recognized the songs out in the wild.
Over the years, I tried several times to find the whole playlist, without any success. Recently though, I stumbled across it on Spotify. Apparently someone else thought the podcast was good enough to preserve. I went ahead and recreated it on Google Play, too. You can listen to it from either sources.
