Keeping Count of Rearrested/Died Insurrectionists

A topic for tracking convicted and pardoned Jan. 6 Insurrectionists who are rearrested or wanted for other offenses and/or who died during arrest.

I was giving them numbers based on when they were arrested, but some of them have been charged and arrested multiple times, for multiple things, in different years, so I’m going to number them according to when I hear about them, unless there are objections. I think the total is more important than the actual number assigned.

Number 1; Daniel Charles Ball. Rearrested on gun charge. Jan 22/25

Number 2; Matthew Huttle. Died resisting arrest. Jan. 26/25

Number 3: Andrew Taake. Wanted for child solicitation charges. Finally arrested, Feb. 6/25

Number 4: Emily Hernandez. Sentenced for deadly DUI crash. Jan. 30/25

Dishonourable mention; Joe Biggs. Landlord refused to rent to him. Feb. 5/25

Number 5: Dillon Herrington (a real prize, this one). Trial date set for raping an incapacitated woman in 2023. He made a plea deal with prosecutors and avoided prison time for Jan. 6. Jan. 20/25

Number 6: Dan Wilson. Reincarcerated for arms convictions predating Jan. 6. Feb 7/25

Number 7: Enrique Tarrio. Arrested for assaulting a woman outside the Capitol. Feb. 21/25

Suggestion: Put the running list in the top post?

The articles reporting them, or just the names, do you think?

Maybe 1. Name [link] with the link to the most credible report?

Numbers one and two were incorrectly numbered, but it was hard to track down the exact dates.

That’s what I’ve got in the comments. The post itself might get unmanageable if they (hopefully) all get rearrested!

I’m listing names, offences and dates in the main post heading.

It can always be edited if another way seems to make more sense.

What do other people think? Should the links be in the main post heading, or given in the comments section, with a briefer description in the main post heading?

I feel like maintaining the header with the ability to add info or discuss in the comments would be the least chaotic way to organize it? Basically what you just said seems best.

I don’t know if it belongs here, but the pizzagate shooter was also recently killed by police during a traffic stop.

Certainly Insurrectionist adjacent. Maybe not part of the main list, if wewant to track insurrectionists who were pardoned and then rearrested, but it’s worth having here as part of a trend of all the “good people” who are fans of the Turnip.

Well.

I occasionally wondered what happened to this guy. Now I know.
