A topic for tracking convicted and pardoned Jan. 6 Insurrectionists who are rearrested or wanted for other offenses and/or who died during arrest.
I was giving them numbers based on when they were arrested, but some of them have been charged and arrested multiple times, for multiple things, in different years, so I’m going to number them according to when I hear about them, unless there are objections. I think the total is more important than the actual number assigned.
Number 1; Daniel Charles Ball. Rearrested on gun charge. Jan 22/25
Number 2; Matthew Huttle. Died resisting arrest. Jan. 26/25
Number 3: Andrew Taake. Wanted for child solicitation charges. Finally arrested, Feb. 6/25
Number 4: Emily Hernandez. Sentenced for deadly DUI crash. Jan. 30/25
Number 5: Dillon Herrington (a real prize, this one). Trial date set for raping an incapacitated woman in 2023. He made a plea deal with prosecutors and avoided prison time for Jan. 6. Jan. 20/25
Number 6: Dan Wilson. Reincarcerated for arms convictions predating Jan. 6. Feb 7/25
Number 7: Enrique Tarrio. Arrested for assaulting a woman outside the Capitol. Feb. 21/25
Number 8: Shane J. Woods. Found guilty of reckless homicide and DUI after driving the wrong way on a highway and causing a 4 car crash. Crash in Nov. 2022. Sentenced April 30/25
Number 9: Zachary Alam. Arrested for attempted home invasion on May 9.
Number 10: Bryan Betancur Battisti. Arrested for stalking anti-Jan 6 activist. March 20/24, jailed Sept. 2024 for the stalking charges. Previously convicted of burglary charges and being monitored with an ankle monitor when he joined the Jan. 6 insurrection.
Number 11: Kyle Colton. Charged with possessing images of child pornography on his computer. Feb. 2024. Asking the judge to dismiss these charges because they were found in the course ofthe search for evidence in the Jan 6 case. Slimeball.
Number 12: Edward Kelly. Convicted of conspiring to kill federal agents and other LEOs who investigated him for Jan 6 crimes. November 2024. Feds are seeking a life sentence.
Dishonourable Mentions:
