Keeping Count of Rearrested/Died Insurrectionists

Thanks so much! Yes, I can see the edit icon, and was able to get in. And like I said, I’m fine with other people editing if they see a new miscreant show up in the news.

You know, sometimes I think they didn’t send us their best…

Battisti was charged earlier this year with multiple violations of an anti-stalking order barring him from contact with Brianne Chapman, a D.C.-based activist who goes by the moniker “Anarchy Princess” and who frequently counter-protests hearings in cases related to the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Battisti admitted to two of those violations on Monday, including one incident in February when federal officers briefly detained and escorted him out of the federal courthouse in D.C.

Thanks! They seem to come in waves, although it looks like this guy was re-arrested over a year ago, and got missed. There may be more.

There was an arrest a year ago and a new arrest more recently, if I’m parsing the text of that middle image correctly.

The article at the top is about the earlier arrest which I provided to give some context. Couldn’t find any articles about the latest arrest.

Sorry, should have explained the original post more.

No worries; I’ll have a look for more info on him.

Taylor Taranto, pardoned for Jan. 6 (4 misdemeanors) but not for carrying firearms etc. near Obama’s home. Not sure this counts, where this list is concerned: he was rearrested after Jan. 6, but before Trump’s pardon, which doesnt help him now.

Defense attorney Pleasant Brodnax said the video shows Taranto was merely joking in an “avant-garde” manner.

“He believes he is a journalist and, to some extent, a comedian,” Broadnax said.

So, make a threat, show up with weapons etc. & just claim it was performance art?

Thanks! Lets add him in anyway, since he’s going to trial. I’ve added him in as a “Dishonourable mention”.

I think this goes here…

Maybe this cop belongs on the list?

A Dishonourable Mention? Since he wasn’t previously convicted for Jan 6.

Yeah, good way to put it I think. I was thinking it would need some sort of note like that.

I tried to edit, like this, because I
thought the first post had been converted to a Wiki, but it says I can’t edit it.

Dishonourable mentions:

Number 1: Taylor Taranto. Trial opens May 29/24 for arms offenses and threatening behaviour near Obama’s home in 2023.

Number 2: Police officer Shane Lamond was sentenced June 6 to 18 months in federal prison for assisting Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio with avoiding arrest.

Edit:

Oh, okay looks like you did it, yay.

I can edit it now, so I’ve added them in. I like the way you’ve done the headings; I have just been adding people in, in the order I see them, but maybe separating the Dishonourable mentions out is the way to go.

I don’t know why you can’t edit it.

Cool beans.

Maybe I couldn’t because you were editing right when I tried to do so.

Maybe; that makes sense.
