My friend’s dad had one for the family ranch. We used to race it up and down the walnut orchard in the early 80s. I also had the misfortune of riding in the back on another one and while going up a sharp embankment of an ocean inlet, we fell backwards. Me, then a high school friend on top of me, and then the ATV on top of both of us–all in the water.
Fun times!

Congestion Pricing has been, at long last, implemented on the southern half of Manhattan.
It has been two days. Traffic seems to be reduced, but then it’s been snowing and very cold.
Republicans hate it because it might reduce the amount of gasoline being detonated inside of engines. So we will see what Trump does. Hopefully he will be too busy invading Canada to invade Manhattan.

I’ve been waiting to pick up some stupid stuff from my dash cam for weeks now. It’s been quiet here because of the holidays. Finally got one the other day, though. This one isn’t spectacular, but it’s emblematic of the kind of stupid stuff I see all the time around here.

They were very lucky that someone in the right lane wasn’t flying up the road and not paying attention. It has a 40 MPH speed limit.
