Let us also not forget the intriguing Rumpler Tropfenwagen.
Good news!
The chap obviously loves both his work and the locomotives.
When I worked at a bookstore with great bosses, I always referred to it as “my store.” His “our” could of course just mean “the locomotives who belong to my place of work,” but given the caek and all, I don’t think so
I just sat here, mouth agape when the car was shown outdoors. Incredible.
The little speed shapes’ base colors I liked best are (in order) the Hunter Green, Supermarine Blue, and Anthracite. Nice of them to show the speed shapes outdoors, too. I don’t think I’ve seen them do that before.
I think it’s even worse: there is no plan, not even an evil one.
It’s seeming more and more to me like the plan is simply for Tramp to dominate the world, or as much of it as he can, while everyone else “kisses his ass.” If so, surely someone or some group will get fed up enough to say no in some way that topples him, hopefully soon.
Wow. I’m having some trouble with the idea that someone bought a Jaguar and then did… that… to it. A Kia, maybe, but a Jaguar?
I’ve been a little surprised at how much press coverage that non-functional concept robot from Kawasaki has been getting considering that you can already buy some pretty capable, rideable robots from Chinese companies today:
It seems pretty damn unlikely that Kawasaki will follow through and even build a functional prototype, let alone bring it to market. And why are these Japanese auto companies still pushing hydrogen so hard? If that was ever going to get widely adopted as a fuel that would have happened by now.
A car maintenance question. My ac is fine - but at 4 years old - should I get an ac “tune up”.
There’s nothing wrong with the ac as far as I know. But do they clean/lubricate things etc and increase the time between needed repairs? Or is it one of those things you only have looked at if it has a problem?
Then definitely not. Anything they do to “tune it up” could cause a refrigerant leak and make it stop working properly.
As long as it’s blowing cool air, and not making any horrible sounds under the hood, you should be golden.
It’s a closed loop system that doesn’t need maintenance, only repairs when something goes wrong.
(Even though there’s not really a lot of parts in an AC system, it’s always an expensive repair in parts and/or labor. As it’s a closed loop system, pretty much any repair will require refilling the refrigerant, which is an automatic ~$200 cost right there.)
I would check your car’s service schedule, it should include the AC. Unless it is an aftermarket fitting. There are hoses and drive belts that can be beyond spec/adjustment.
“Nampa City Councilmember Sebastian Griffin helped craft the bill, and told the committee why this bill was brought forward.
Griffin attended an event at Lakeview Park in Nampa, where Canyon County Pride was held in June. At the event, he noticed a “woman who was topless exposing herself,” he said.
“Shocked by this, I went over and saw a local Nampa police officer and said, ‘why hasn’t this individual been asked to either number one, cover up or number two, leave?’” Griffin told the committee. “And to my surprise, the officer said what that person’s doing isn’t illegal.”
That’s because it is not illegal for a man with breast enhancements to walk around topless, the officer said, according to Griffin. ”
Thank goodness for that! In each video, I see less rideability and more “things that could easily chase/find a living target without much difficulty.” Do I want to rewatch a Black Mirror episode IRL? No, I don’t.
Cue hundreds of women showing up at the capitol to breastfeed on the steps.
