She is also the woman with the creepy masks and the dead birds

I’m guessing this guy is particularly sexually tortured, bird perverts or no.

Yeah, it’s no “Teen Vogue”, that’s for sure.

Despite this not being 101, should we pin this to the top of this thread?

Dern it, I can’t pin it to the top. I can give you the “Time Esquire” badge though.

Stuff like this, I would really love to be at the meeting where travel arrangements are made. Like who the hell said, yeah, this won’t blow up in our faces at all?

They bury down in the article that the women were added later and that they bought extra seats for the women. I think they could have maybe re-delegated some of the men’s seats to women. But it didn’t seem like it was completely without thought.

The women being added later makes it worse, not better. That they had multiple seats makes it slightly better.

I’ve never understood why people talk so much shit about USA Today — as if the older, more traditional newspapers weren’t also full of recycled bullshit and propaganda

Because when they started, they were the only paper not claiming to be a tabloid that had that stuff. They pulled down everyone else to their level.

It’s like in I, Tonya when they interview the journalist from Hard Copy, and he points out his show was derided in its day, yet it’s what all the news outlets have become.
