This woman. I’m 54 now, the age Jackie will be when she dies the year after this interview was conducted. And she talks about authors and how “we didn’t have the media”. Jackie knew, and she wasn’t afraid to say it. (Btw, she’s dying of cancer while being interviewed. She did her own makeup and hair, I think to the very end. In a looks-conscious society, she was an artist in that sense.)
