NYT, but Private Window still works for me at least:
That was a great story about what #metoo is up against. A woman’s word is only as valuable as 1/4 a man. So true.
And the integrity of the IDed man is not questioned nearly as much as all the women’s.
The bit about the character assassination was the most crystalising part for me. All so irrelevant, and yet brought up constantly.
First ever internationally agreed upon definition of sexism:
Just read a screed against feminists who consider transwomen to be women/female – when we all know, of course, that “transwomen are male” (direct quote) – in which the term ‘TERF’ is a significant part of the title and is referenced a couple of times in the piece to point out that it’s a “slur” (again, direct quote), and yet was never defined. In fact, only one word was specifically defined in the piece: literal. Yep, how weak sauce is that…make sure everyone knows we’re using the term ‘literal’ correctly.
If I didn’t want to punch one of these people before, now I definitely do.
If anyone’s interesting in headdesking:

The article is bad; the comments are worse.
Didn’t Megan hold a hangout with white supremacists and MRAs just this week?
…Maybe?
This is the only reference I can find to such an event, and, while it mentions MRAs, I don’t see anything about white supremacy.
Not by her, but on her website…
Ah, it’s Murphy’s own website. That explains the near-unanimous agreement with the “trans women aren’t women” idea in the comments section.
Some people have questioned their story. I’m not sure how to check on their story.
Either this is an incredibly elaborate hoax (multiple independent sources verify that the website and phone number belong to the City of Flint and the Flint PD respectively), or this is the contact information of the police officer who is working on this case (according to the GoFundMe, it’s case number 19-00089777):
If you e-mail the sergeant, they should be able to verify that the GoFundMe, at the very least, isn’t completely making up the story.
I tried to look up the case number, but that didn’t work out.
Facebook has been pitching PUA courses at me.

The videos are interesting looks into the mind of some men, both the ones writing the copy, and the ones who the videos are supposed to be appealing to.
Edit: and a third one: https://www.badass-coaching.com/
I mean, damn, Facebook.
I’m admittedly hopeless when it comes to all things dating, but I’d expect whatever algorithm Facebook uses to pitch its ads would have collected enough data to at least have a better idea of what I think of women. I’m sure it could get me to buy some sort of dating self-help mumbo-jumbo if the products they pitched at me didn’t immediately descend into outright misogyny.
Yes, because she likely got rid of any and all opinions which disagreed with that wrongheaded view.
At the very least, the community seemed quite unwelcoming to the one person I noticed trying to express a contrary opinion.
