Heh, I use :stuck_out_tongue: (actually colon p but it converts to emoji here) in my g calendar. Someone actually looking (OK let’s be real, a person who is or was menstruating) would know exactly what it is.

I’d have loved a real period tracker, if it was truly private, but at this point it’s so irregular that it’s more of a record than a warning that it’s coming. Yay perimenopause.

I’ve tried that, but it only seems to hold 18 months of data… I lost a lot of info that way (unless it’s backed up somewhere I don’t know about.) :worried:

There’s a suprisingly overlooked movie with Anne Hathaway, The Intern, which is like a blueprint to how to get the menz to be supportive of women. It’s basically like, hey, let’s harken back to an age of men being taught good manners and kindness toward women - even women in positions of power.

The benefactor if [his] benevolence? With bonus class-ism. Huh. Sounds like a bullet was dodged.

The only way that bloviator is in an $800K home is if he’s living with his parents. And in the DC area, $800K buys at most a small condo, so there wouldn’t even be a basement to call his own.

I would argue racism as well, but yeah.

From her thread:

I’ll add that I think one reason a lot of liberals, including feminists, downplay the centrality of misogyny to rising fascism is because of liberal sexism. We don’t want to admit that women are important enough to inspire a worldwide rise of fascism.

A lot of people, especially men, on the left want to relegate “women’s issues” to a boutique concern. They can’t allow the thought that women’s issues are actually central concerns that dictate the rise and fall of civilizations.

So, by the standards of the early 1960s, I’d be a US size 14 (that’s the one that comes closest to my actual measurements):

I’ll let you-all look up the current size standards yerselves, as they vary from country to country, as well as line to line; a Lane Bryant size 14 is different from a 14 from somewhere else in the US. Yeesh. Have fun!

Bitter bitch syndrome; he’s doing it right.

Imagine being so incredibly butthurt that you you got rejected that you have to make a post in the Craiglist personal ads about it…

When the “Suggested Fabric” has both corduroy and silk… That doesn’t narrow it down in my mind.
