I was at a science fiction convention once and saw the car of a writer friend in the parking lot. On the bumper was a yellow sticker:
That was about 25 years ago.

A bit late for something that’s mostly about the debate and fallout, but makes some good points about the Haitian immigrant situation.
I think that was painted on the back of the Merry Pranksters’ bus.
Am I the only one who finds that pattern painful and disorienting?
Sorry – didn’t realize. I changed it.
Strange how he never seems to want to use music made by the few musicians who like him.
Can you imagine him dancing at Studio 54 when he was younger? I can, but I can’t visualize it, which is a win.
He needs money, so why not do a Shake Weights commercial? He’s got the one move necessary already.
These are rough, vicious – rougher than anything you can imagine, there is no – and I say it all the time, if you want to do, do a movie on some of these, uh, people, that you’re gonna be looking at in two minutes, if you wanted to do a movie, there’s no actor in Hollywood that could play the role. There’s nobody that could do it. These actors, you know they’re a little bit shaky, they can’t play their role. They bring in a big actor, and you look, you say “oh, he’s got no muscle content, he’s got no muscle, we need a little muscle”. Then they bring in another one, “but he’s got a weak face, he looks weak”. Y’know, these guys have the whole package, unfortunately for our country.
I… had to transcribe it just to make sure I was hearing it as rambling and insane as it was actually said. WTF is Trump even trying to say here? Are undocumented immigrants More Manly than our best actors?
Certainly seems obsessed with their packages.

Don’t want to suggest to look at a thread on the site formerly known as X, but it also has a few points pulled from the motion about things Trump is accused of. For instance:
Lock them up and melt down the key.
Is he remarking about Sebastian Stan playing him in the film about him and Roy Cohn? He’s Romanian-American.
Tina Peters, a former election official in Colorado’s Mesa County who promoted former President Donald Trump’s election conspiracy theories and was responsible for a breach of voting-system security, was sentenced today to nine years in prison.
Peters asked for leniency at her sentencing today. “I’m not a criminal and I don’t deserve to go into a prison where other people have committed heinous crimes,” Peters reportedly told the judge. She called herself remorseful and said, “I never expected that just doing an image which was completely legal, before and after the trusted build would’ve landed me here. I thought it was going to come out quietly.”
The Colorado Sun reported that Peters gave “a rambling statement” describing “her belief that elections are being stolen as part of a vast national conspiracy. She claimed that Dominion Voting Systems are rigged in a garbled talk that sounded like her presentations on far-right podcasts.”
Barrett reportedly interrupted Peters to tell her, “this is completely irrelevant.”
