Using AI chatbots actually reduces activity in the brain versus accomplishing the same tasks unaided, and may lead to poorer fact retention, according to a new preprint study out of MIT.

Except for the part about blocking pain.
There was some pretty strong signals that they use some form of light at night (stars or moon) to navigate, because the lights at Parliament House in Canberra - essentially in the Alps - attracts them in big numbers.
The moths were an important food source in winter for the Ngunnawal people, to the point where, to some of their neighbours, âNgunnawalâ meant âthe moth eatersâ.
As electric lights all over the world will show, itâs not unusual for insects to use some light to navigate, but usually it is just the sky. Even at night the easiest way to tell up from down is that the ground is almost always darker, and many kinds have simple ocelli that help that judge that as fast as possible. Actually finding their way around using the stars is less common though. These arenât the first known, which was a scarab, but those donât travel nearly as far.
Octopodes
Indeed. IMHO, itâs not bad for treating fever, but for pain it is really not very good. At least relative to ibuprofen. Or a number of topical options. Better than nothing, but i like my liver, soooâŚ
I think it was already well established that with the shape of their teeth sauropods couldnât chew their food. I guess this finding confirms that.
