They found some organic chemicals – compounds that contain carbon. Unfortunately they also use the term “organic matter,” which to me conjures up a picture of rotting dead leaves or a compost pile. Naturally journalists are jumping on the latter term to sell newspapers.

For goodness’ sake, astronomers have found organic chemicals in clouds of gas and dust in interstellar space.

Actually, it wasn’t bad. It did have a berry sort of flavor, but no mint.
