Well, we definitely need this one… :grinning:

i always used :man_shrugging: to say, “yeah, i got nothing”. in response to something really egregious, something not quite face palming, but nearly.
or,most often in response to another florida man story!

Is there an actual poll somewhere, preferably with ranked voting, so we can see which emojis are most requested?

not yet, as far as i can tell.

Oooh… I have a strong dislike for that one. Googly eyes belong on things, not hanging out in the middle of space. And when people use it at work it feels intrusive. Stop watching me! I’m in pajamas today!

How do you feel about googly eyes on bread?

(I made this earlier in the week.)

Actually, I love it!

Something like that.

I checked the documentation for the plugin, and I don’t see any limits, but I imagine there are diminishing returns above a dozen or so.

According to the settings, this is the Twitter set, which I think is the default, but there are a number of others we can choose from:

That’s the plan, but I wanted to get a list of options first. I haven’t done a ranked poll before, so I don’t know how it works yet.

Sorry, I haven’t read the whole thread. I just want to cast a vote for emotive reactions, I like to laugh at what I find funny and weep at what I find sad.

Oh, and puke at disgusting stuff. A puke emoji is essential, ask @mindysan33

I need that hug emoji, especially when i need to send a hug to the poster to let them know they are not alone.

Septupled!

I always used it to mean I found it thought provoking: “hmm.” (That’s what I type to make it appear on my phone)

As long as I can respond in kind with bunny pics! Mutually Assured D’aaaawwwww!

I used it mostly that way too, but also sometimes to respond to a post that contains a link and no commentary about it, to say, “Gee, I wonder why that’s supposed to be a tempting page to go to another site and read?” (Very specific, I know, and probably a meaning that only I understood.)

An interesting facet to me: no one seemed to ask what an emoji response is supposed to mean, as in, “Say there So and So, could you explain why you laughed at my comment, when everyone else cried?” (Unless that happened in DMs.)

Just add all of 'em! I for one would enjoy trying to figure out what someone meant when they tagged my post with a :curling_stone: or a :love_hotel: or a :t_rex:.

ETA: Lest there be any doubt, yes, I’m joking.
