The guy’s hand on that bar reminds me of the very old van a friend had, where the engine was between the passengers. I once had to manually adjust the throttle on the engine while he drove because the linkage had failed.
The driver looks like…Gary Lockwood? Sorta-kinda-maybe?
And that sign in the background, under the Carlsberg billboard…The Phone Booth? A bar, or a really wild ad campaign by Ma Bell?
What’s this from?
I can’t.
I honestly don’t remember. The owner had the engine replaced at one point. Either it was the old one breaking down, or the new one not quite hooked up properly.
I hadn’t noticed the camera in the car before. But I don’t recognize the guy either.

Darn government, discriminating against the living impaired.
I just looked it up on Wikipedia - I was correct! Mr. Lockwood is just that recognizable.
Ah, he did look a bit familiar, from “Lost In Space,” I think?
Gee if he’s in any bad movies you could call him Gary Schlockwood. Ha ha.
Um, “Star Trek”…that one with him and Sally Kellerman and the godhood.
Also a lot of 1970s’ prime-time dramas, especially Quinn Martin Productions, as well as co-starring in “2001: A Space Oddity”…er, I mean, “Odyssey”.
That I’m not sure about, but I know his roles on “Mannix” and “Cannon” were kinda schlocky, lol.
Yeah, that makes sense. I was confusing him with other people on Lost In Space.
The two male stars of course – and maybe the similarity between Lockwood and Lockhart triggered an incorrect memory.
Why witness statements can be pretty lousy!
Also, he was on STTOG when they were still wearing the velour mock-turtlenecks - very similar to the uniforms worn on LIS.
Addendum: He’s still alive!
Do their mothers know?
Looks like fancy laser tag gear minus the guns.
Some of these are pretty hilarious looking.
Oh, it’s even better than that.
Notice he’s on the telephone and LA city hall is behind him.
