I know that’s not Gary Coleman, but I just want to caption that “What’chu talkin’bout, Data?”

You are very close.

I learned this today. This is from the last episode of “Webster.” Webster meets Worf. I have no idea why. I also had no idea the two shows overlapped. I thought Webster only went for a couple of seasons.

As much as I don’t mind spam, I think I need to leave that experiment to the alternate universe version of me with the goatee and all.

I liked his comic, but it made too much sense.

Is that disappointment I sense, or something else?

Just a joke reference to living in a home where ‘the cat and snake distribution systems collide’.

Common denominator: mice are eagerly attacked. It’s kind of funny to watch the cat sitting on top of the tank looking down jealously at the snake having a meal.

One of my favorite sci-fi authors ever. His books were my golden age of sci-fi (As in “When was the Golden Age of Sci-Fi?” “10-14”).

Ditto, up until The Integral Trees, which I didn’t care for. His “tales of known space” stories were terrific.

The Integral Trees was I think the one that fist introduced me to his work! I think I still have a copy packed away somewhere around here. Got it from a library sale where books were 10¢-25¢.

Then I got into the Tales of Known Space, Ringworld, and the whole Motie and CoDominium line of stories. Also Dream Park and Barsoom Project, although I kinda lost interest in that series after the first two. However, I found The Magic Goes Away books which were a nice diversion. And then got more into Jerry Pournelle.
