Side serious note - if you’re an Old like me, get the shot. I’ve heard it can be bad but my first shot was zero problem (knock on wood). Second one in 2 months and I’m eager for it. One of my staff had it and said their body felt made of broken glass that was on fire with pain in every movement for days. I’ll take a shot and a few days of annoying flu-like symptoms any day over that.

I had the 2nd shot earlier this year. Didnt feel good, but fine after a good nap and fluids. Ive seen people with shingles. They are really miserable. This isnt a vax to skip.

I had shingles at like 32, during the hot summer in Italy, I had a rash across my ribs which felt like I’d gotten whipped with a leather belt. I can’t imagine it somewhere more sensitive.

I got my shot despite being normally too young, due to immunosuppressant meds I’ve been taking. The shot was no big deal at all and I feel lucky to have gotten it already, considering vaccinations or medical care in general may not be available any more once I get older as society is systematically dismantled.
