You may’ve heard this one before, but I just made it up. Literally seconds ago.
Q: When is an ancient god like the part of a word?
A: When it’s a silly Baal!
song’s been stuck in my head since watching part 1 of a beach boys’ bio-vid and yes i know this is a jan and dean song but i don’t care
I love that. Takes me back to two separate happy times! (Three really)
My dad loved music like Jan and Dean, the Beach Boys, the Ventures, etc. He had a huge Panasonic stereo with the record player and built-in 8-track tape deck. When I was a kid I would put those records or 8-tracks on and dance like a crazy person and my parents would laugh and laugh. Imagine an 8 year-old trying to breakdance to the Beach Boys.
Then later in life Animaniacs came out and I loved it. Especially Pinky and the Brain.
Before I ever met my wife in person, she sent me an Animaniacs CD with their songs. I must’ve been 19-20 then, but still a kid at heart. We’ve now been married 18 years.
Thanks for sharing that! It made my day.
You’re most welcome! I still have the Animaniacs cassette tape with songs used on the show somewhere in the house, lol.
Maybe 20 years ago a person released a bunch of electronic tunes on his laptop synth under the name of “Twerk,” I suspect in homage to Kraftwerk.
Try searching for that now, and you’ll never find it.
They fucked up the ending; it was not a happy ending where the patrol cops win in the book.
BUT…at the end of the 3d trailer, watch Charles “Doc Hopper” Durning jump when he’s giving skin to Lou Gossett, Jr! Any estimates on just how high he went? LG is 6’4", btw.
I like this analysis…
Awww, a bunch of sad sacks.
That was sublime!
