I once wrote down a recipe of chili that my sister made. When I was in college. About 50 years ago. Iâve still got it. Itâs yellow, tattered, and covered with stuff I wouldnât want to analyze in a chem lab.
I finally decided I needed a better copy that wonât decompose. So I scanned it, and cleaned it up in Paint Shop Pro. When I say cleaned it up, I mean I went completely OCD over it and made it look like I wrote it yesterday.
Only took about an hour.
I showed it to my wife and she said, âWhy didnât you just type it in?â
I honestly didnât think of that. But it wouldnât have that handwritten look now, would it? Food tastes better that way. Doesnât it?

I saw one on the road last week. I didnât think it was possible that it was stupider looking in person than in a photo, and yet it was.
