I was almost able to make it work, though it takes a lot of playing with the timing. :smiley:

Aside from the problem of squeezing “what at their endings lie” into the space of “the other side”, I think the biggest problem is that the second “verse” is missing a sentence… and the structure of the refrain is so different that it’s a struggle not to just automatically start singing the original…
