Fantastic!
Aside from some of them being really super cute, I love how the concept gets people to look more closely, and maybe even empathetically, at others going through their daily lives.
I sort of feel like you should take a selfie with that covering the bottom half of your faceâŚ
Well, thatâs a disappointment.
Is it? Iâm sorry, I didnât think it would be.
Iâm not really disappointed. In fact, Iâm glad itâs not an artistic piece commissioned by someone in the practice, or given by a patient.
Reminds me of a Halloween decoration given to our vet: a Dracula pet figure complete with a small coffin. Talk about bad taste! The folks at the desk were embarrassed apologetic, saying it was given to them by a loyal client. They planned to never show it again.
yeah, at first i wondered why a retinologist would display an odd sculptural art piece of a smiling face with no eyes!
âcanât see? look here, this oneâs got no eyes and yet smiles alongâ.
glad itâs the display thingie @chenille points out!
Indeed! But it still ought not to be in an eye docâs office! IMO. Actually, when I first saw it I started laughing. I just had to take a picture. I did it rather surreptitiously, as I didnât know if theyâd appreciate it . . . HIPPA rules and all that.
âI have no eyes, and I must cryâ
I must be psychic; I totally guessed that!
