He knows his stuff.
He sounded filthy to contemporary audiences too.
Thanks for putting this Leapfrog loop back in to my earworm port
There are so many unrecognized people in this world with crazy amounts of talent.
This showed up because of Ozzy and then a search for her other stuff turned up Freebird.

Here’s Ally with Buckets, a lovely niche crossover cover.
Sounds great but for me the best “non-guitar” cover of freebird will be this:
WOW!
Late to this thread.
Here’s a cover of Motorhead’s Ace of Spades that’s head and shoulders above the original, IMO. Then again, I like almost everything from Brass Against.
There’s an amazing cover by The Foo Fighters that was buried deep on an extended version of The Colour and the Shape. Took me forever to find it before it showed up on YT:

I’ve been an avid harmonica player for the better part of a decade… Will has just inspired me to pursue a career in cooking.
I live a sheltered life when it comes to music. Anything after the late 80s and maybe a little of the 90s rarely get my attention.
Ally showed up in my feed because of Ozzy and then I was sufficiently impressed to see what’s else she had.
Good stuff Maynard.
