Addendum: I’m watching the above film in his honor. I remember seeing him in “El Dorado” with Robert Mitchum & John Wayne in the archetypical role of young gunfighter - except he was a knife-thrower. GREAT performance. And soooo handsome! But as Jonathan…he’s not a dumb jock. He’s no genius, but he becomes - to use what I hope is no longer current parlance “woke” (I prefer "enlightened; but then again, the film takes place in 2018, so…).

My brother met him at a comic-con, said he was lively and really nice.

Oh, that sucks! I met him once. The guy worked limited talent but a great personality into an entire career in Hollywood based on a couple of years as a co-star and about a million guest appearances. He was all about the hustle. And he loved his fans!
