He wasn’t as well known as Mr. Ditko, but he made “The Amazing Spider-Man” his own for the time he worked on it. Not to mention all his other works.

Also Jewish.
Now he can finally rest up and watch the show. <3
Which show?
Um…the one that’s on a stage and we folks are merely players.
saw him once, in the 90s, in one of the ballrooms at the Nugget. the room was packed (it was Mother’s Day, so it was pretty clearly lots of moms and their gay sons), and probably smaller than he was used to playing in the 60s, but he was incredible. he was so generous to the band and to the audience, clearly enjoying his job, and never for a moment phoning a single song in. his voice was powerful and beautiful, and even though we were up literally against the ceiling in the back row, it felt like he was performing just for us. i’ll never forget it. i became an instant fan. RIP, Mr. Bennett, and thank you for the music.
That’s for sure.
What a fucking legend this woman was… refused to take no shit from anyone, refused to play the stupid games the industry played, refused to be silenced. We need far more in her mode making culture.
He also got charged with possession of child p*rn but plea-bargained down to possession of an obscene image. This was after the porn theatre arrest.
Sorry, but I got a problem with the c.p. thing.
Here is the details that wikipedia has on his second arrest…
The CP charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, and he plead guilty to a lesser charge…
I know. It’s not like he was Bill Cosby, who is like comedy’s version of Henry Kissinger, as far as I’m concerned now, lol. I need to have a charity skeet shoot using BC’s LPs as vinyl pigeons.
