The fact that so many reporters are jumping on the “shame, shame” bandwagon over something that was clearly never said feeds perfectly into the alt-right’s movement to delegitimise mainstream media.

They keep claiming that she tweeted “they got him” when they published the tweet on the screen and it clearly said “they got to him”. Details matter, if you’re claiming how something was said is that import. They can’t even get that right.

Then there’s this…fake? I don’t think so, I really don’t. The most deeply-closeted folks are the ones who attempt to misdirect by being fiercely against whatever it is they’re closeting.
