Regular boys can get angry and they’ll just pee on the wall. When clever boys like you are angry… you’re lucky not to have seen where that can lead.
I’ve thought of cementing a urinal to the side of Trump tower in Chicago. Might be tricky to do by the main entrance, but along the riverwalk might work
I’m with you. I got epoxy, Liquid Nails, superglue, polyurethane glue, Aleene’s Tacky Glue, Elmer’s, etc.
Is there a long-ass German word for “horrible, lying piece of human trash pulls a fast one on the people whose lives he aimed to destroy”?
Drumpf.
Not long. But it works. And it does sound German.
Druuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumpf?
I wonder if there’s a site that allows users to enter in certain situations that can otherwise only be described at length, then be rewarded with a single word that fits the situation.
Gods and demi-gods of the underworld forgive me, but I asked copilot to create the word. See the output below. Uttering it hurt my tongue:
“Unrechtschikanierung”
This word combines:
- “Unrecht” (injustice or wrongdoing)
- “Schikane” (harassment or chicanery)
- “ierung” (a suffix denoting an action or process)
So, “Unrechtschikanierung” essentially captures the concept of repeated harmful actions through chicanery despite legal orders.
Cameras about. With enough “innocent, just walking around, enjoying the day” collaborators surrounding you, you and the urinal can be shielded as you move to position and while sticking the urinal to the wall.
Don’t forget to bring a look out and wear a balaclava… and do it at night…
I just had a wonderful thought; the turnip part of that pic, made into a banner and hung on the outside of turnip tower.
Years ago I created a less sophisticated phrase which sophisticatedly uses three different languages.
очень merdelich
очень - OH-cheen - Russian for “how”
merde - mayrd (with the semi-strangled French ‘r’ sound) - French for “shit”
lich - lee followed by a softer version of the ‘ch’ sound in Scottish “loch” - German suffix for -ish/-ly/or in this case, -y
“How shitty.”
Has this been noted somewhere above?
Yesterday my wife and found out that an English word for schadenfreude is
epicaricacy.
It has 3 c’s!
Yeah, @mindysan33 mentioned epicaricacy
that in another thread within the last week or so (maybe the language theread?).
That should be unrechtmäßige (or maybe ungesetzliche) Schikanierung (or just Schikane)
(Even in a compound language you don’t just “Combine ALL the words !!!” at random.)
Which is somewhat redundant; chicanery always involves some kind of rule breaking. Although there is of course the “technically just not illegal yet” way to do things. But that’s not how Donnie and Leon work these days.
Alexander initially responded with derision to the posts, saying, “You think posting on here can stop a multi million dollar company, you’re part of the problem. That’s called free speach [sic]” claiming that Tahoe Heartbeat had received $10,000 in sales after his comment.
However, community members from organizations like Lake Tahoe Community College, the League to Save Lake Tahoe, the Boys and Girls Club, and Barton Hospital had seen his posts. Others sent emails or requested that the merchandise be pulled from stores and that partnerships be terminated.
Barton Hospital had previously partnered with Tahoe Heartbeat on COVID masks in 2020, and some departments purchased sweatshirts with both the Barton and Tahoe Heartbeat logos in later years. Other than that, Barton has no official partnership with the company.
“After learning of the CEO’s remarks, we made the decision to remove all Heartbeat Brand merchandise from our store,” said Darcie Goodman Collins, CEO of the League to Save Lake Tahoe. “The League does not support hate, fear, and divisiveness. We believe and will always work toward a Tahoe for all.”
Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) said that they are aware of the recent online comments, and officially stated, “LTCC currently has no contracts with Tahoe Heartbeat and will halt future purchases from the company as the views expressed do not align with the College’s values.”
Jude Wood, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club, said that they had a partnership which has finished now. She added, “We have strong values and we will be paying attention to them as we move forward with partnerships and looking for future partners.”
Andrea Masavage of Harrahs/Harvey’s told the Tribune, “We have also pulled all Tahoe Heartbeat merchandise from our retail shops at Harrahs and Harvey’s Lake Tahoe after being made aware of these egregious comments. We will no longer be doing business with this company and do not want to be affiliated with Tahoe Heartbeat in any way.”
Other organizations that have dropped the brand include the Raley’s in South Shore, in Truckee, and Incline Village, Clean Up The Lake, Blue Zone Sports, Sidestreet Boutique, Fallen Leaf Lake Store, Sealed with a Kiss, Captain’s Corner, Village Toys, Sports LTD, Tahoe Blue Vodka, Safeway, J Boutique, Live at Lakeview, Lake Tahoe Golf Course, Beanies and Bikinis, and Blue Pebbles.
