Awesome!
On this cloudy weekend, people didn’t go to the beach, as usual in Rio, but they flocked to the city’s parks where several amateur musical groups were rehearsing for the carnival parades.
View from the office yesterday morning before I turned on the lights.
Really nice near-full moon on the drive there too, but I didn’t get pics of that.
I backed a kickstarter for an artist i’ve backed before (ceramic skull mugs/bowls). This time around he had a project for some ceramic octopus tiki mugs with a crab lid, and it was delivered today to my delight. I will need to see if there’s a particular cocktail recipe i’d like to make and serve with it to “break it in”
Video of me handling the cup
That is gorgeous!
I’ve been eagerly waiting for it for a while, and i’m really happy to get it today. I wasn’t expecting for it to be delivered so that makes me happy
That’s an awesome surprise. It’s so cool. Is the gold foil octopus a sticker? It’s also awesome.
Yeah it is i’m not quite sure where to slap it on, but i would like to use it somewhere at some point
Yeah, I get that. I’d feel some pressure on figuring out the right spot for a sticker that nice. It’s so pretty. But you shouldn’t feel pressure! No pressure! Just talking about my own weirdness there.
I definitely have stickers i’ve never used because i always want to put them somewhere where they won’t get ruined. I might end up just putting it on my bookcase of things, but i would like to find something to use it on. If i don’t that’s ok
Wow! The details are so nice on the cup and lid
I too would have problems using the sticker. I might just stick it to some nicely textured paper and then frame it to put on the wall
WOWS!
what a beauty! love the crab lid! and that sticker is awesome, too.
now, what cocktail? you could probably find all the ingredients for this:
