Yup, that looks like it. They make a big snowblower, but this is an attachment to their multitool. Shares a powerplant with my tiller and string trimmer.

Yeah that does look many times easier than a shovel!

I appreciated your endorsement of the Ego system at TOP, they make really good stuff and it helped when I was looking into e-tools. I picked up an Ego mower last year, then a string trimmer (ETA: stand-alone) before I realized they had the multi-head system with the snow thrower. The snow thrower does look nice. A nearby hardware store sells a few models of the larger Ego snow blowers, too. They use one for their sidewalks and say that they work great. One day…

I upgraded my snow removal arsenal with the scoop on the left this winter. It makes things a lot easier.

If we get a snow event with enough heavy stuff, I will break down and pay someone to plow the driveway, though.

I just spent basically the entire afternoon just getting our steps and porch clear of snow and ice. Thankfully it’s 42 degrees today and it was melting kind of enthusiastically once I got the snow off the top layer and threw some ice melt on the rest. But I’m definitely getting too old for this shit.

Ack! IMO, shoveling snow when it’s that warm is the worst. I get hot, the snow is so heavy, ugh. No thank you.

Today was perfect here, in the mid-20’s with no wind. The snow didn’t get all dense and difficult, and it was warm enough for my puppers with his floofy bottom to sit and supervise the entire time I was shoveling.

I’ve never seen that design before! I bet the leverage really helps with tossing heavy snow.

My friend says it’s the easiest thing he has ever used to clear snow from his driveway and sidewalk. He has even given them as gifts to friends and relatives.

That must be why they are sold out. Save some for the rest of us!

man, you guys are “blowing me away” with all this snow talk. it has been a very long time since i lived in a place that got snow (Sedona,AZ, 2000, last time i lived in a place that accumulated snow).
those electric snowblower/lawnmower/weed whacker setups are really cool, i almost feel left out that my landscape needs none of those things!
not to sound smug about not needing to shovel snow, or the lack of a “lawn” to mow, this time of year is really nice here, but in mere months from now, the heat and humidity will make it difficult to work outside and then…
well, then we’re back to hurricane season.

what can ya do?

Deal with snow the natural way - hibernate until it’s gone.

I am usually shy, but after the first photo, I thought about it and decided to go down, eat an acarajé, have a beer and enjoy the samba.
