Looks like one is warmer than the others.

Maybe the snow is a little deeper on the others?

By midmorning we had about 6 inches of fluffy snow, real winter wonderland stuff. Then midday the “warmer” air started pushing up from the south, the precip switched briefly to light sleet and then even lighter rain. Now everything is slushy and will probably refreeze, and everything will be a slippery icy mess tomorrow.

No snow for us :sob: though I did get cute pics of my niblings playing in the snow near ATL. SIL said they’d gotten 4 inches and it was still going

Yeah, we’re gonna have that tomorrow, too… I’m worried about that taking out the power either tonight or tomorrow.

Awesome!

I think it stopped around us by 9 or 9:30 or so? I slept in this morning, so I didn’t see it until it had stopped, which was like 10:30 or so? Maybe 11…

…if everyone’s doing snow pics.

Central Missouri got about 4 in of dry powdery snow on a very cold day (perfect for :sled:) and then 2-3" more of warm packable fluffy snow (perfect for :snowman:) just last night.

Well it’s not cold in here, at least! I did not have dance cyborg on my bingo card.

No snow in Waterloo yesterday, the emerging Death Star is concerning though.

FWIW, this middle aged guy decided to experiment with rhe Ego snow shovel attachment thingy, and it worked great. Our 6" with ice coating was right at the limit of what it could handle, but handle it it did. Way less effort than shoveling, fairly quiet and go it done on one charge.

Attachment?

Do you mean this thingy?

This is relevant to my interests since I’m dealing with clearing snow right now.

I have an electric snowblower. The problem is, our driveway has a wall on one side, and then steps leading up to our front door set into that wall. In the opposite direction, there’s our neighbor’s driveway. There’s no good direction to throw the snow.

I’m really less concerned with getting all the snow off the driveway when there’s only a little, and more with making sure when it’s deep I can still back out, and making those stairs safe for people bringing deliveries (we always just go into the garage and up through the basement ourselves).
